Introduction
And Positing of Essential Arguments
Revised version Jan 2025
Dissatisfaction with the Neo-Darwinian model of evolution is being increasingly and openly expressed in academic and popular literature, and a diversity of thinkers and writers continue to assert that evolutionary ‘science’ is far from philosophy-free. The traditional origins debate between Darwinian evolution and Genesis Creation is familiar but ever divisive, leading many into seeking more expansive and harmonious ways of understanding the existence of life. Those who put ultimate faith in ‘pure science’ fail to appreciate that the scientific method is itself founded upon certain philosophical assumptions, that material science cannot investigate the metaphysical, and that the application of science and technology does not always point in the direction of enlightenment. Faith in the ‘power’ of natural selection has also reached delusional proportions, and the Darwinian evolutionary worldview has seeded a degrading and nihilistic perspective on humanity. A more positive, fulfilling, and realistic comprehension of the living world is offered by the Creationary Synthesis.
Topics: The Evolutionary World View – No Controversy? – Evolution versus Creation: A False Dilemma – Philosophy Before science – A Balanced View of science – Natural Selection: The Explanation that Explains Very Little – What Does ‘Life Without Evolution’ mean? – The Creationary Synthesis.

Life is a miracle. Where did it come from? We do not know.
Sometimes we have to accept we don’t know. Nothing wrong with having doubts, we don’t have to have certainty although so many people want facts to be neat and tidy. They forget that knowledge is only as good as the evidence and in the future new evidence may change what is accepted at present. After Darwin came back from his voyage in the Beagle he made his theory which seemed to fit the facts as he understood them. In certain cases some people seem to try and play God. This is a mistake because the way nature works is often much more complicated. For example cause and effect can get muddled up and sometimes the direction of cause can be reversed.
This essay makes the point that plain evolution is insufficient to explain the derivation of life’s diversity and causation; more forms of input (and design) are required. (I have concluded that consciousness is an inherent part of the universe.)
This reviewer found the development interesting, and was moderately convinced by its logic. It (presumably intentionally) lacks the references that a scientific paper would have.
Regarding references, the introduction is only intended to be a general discussion of ideas and opinions, and does not follow the format of a scientific paper. However, all quotations used in the introduction are indeed supported by references in the text. Subsequent “research essays” all include a full list of references at the end.
